Our Commitment
Anderson Family Estate Sales & Services is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA.
That's a goal we actively work toward, not a certification. This site has been reviewed and updated against specific issues that commonly affect real use — things like image descriptions, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, heading structure, and color contrast — rather than checked once and left alone.

How We Test
Before every update goes live, every page is tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA rules and for layout at 320 pixels wide, along with keyboard, menu and contact-form behavior. An update that fails is not published.
- September 19, 2026: Checklist review of 20 common accessibility criteria, with a rendered color-contrast sweep. Found 8, resolved 8.
- October 22, 2026: Independent technical review, including automated WCAG 2.2 AA testing of every page and keyboard, zoom and form testing. Found 7, resolved 6.
Known Barriers
- Walkthrough videos: most rely on YouTube's automatic captions, which haven't yet been reviewed for accuracy, and two have captions turned off. If you need a description of what's in a sale video, contact us and we'll help.
